- The room must receive the morning sunlight to create an internal environment full of concentration, connectivity, energy, activeness and freshness. The level of natural sunlight should not be less than 150 lux.
- The sound level in the room should be less than 70 decibels.
- The room should be free from clutter and stagnation.
- The study table should be placed on the eastern wall of the room and the child should face east while studying. It is essential to have some openings towards east to let the solar radiations enter into the room.
- The storage cabinet or book shelf should be placed at the back of the study table towards the south or the west wall.
- Furniture should have curved edges.
- Avoid red and black as it lacks concentration if not used wisely.
- Prefer yellow or blue for concentration and mental clarity.
- Personal photographs of child with family, friends and relatives can be placed. Certificates of merits, medals and mementos can also be placed in the kid’s room.
- Paintings and statues related to books, knowledge, intellectuality and meditation can also be used.
- Posters with motivational characters which the child recognizes and gets inspired can be placed in the room.
